Santa Clara County | Months Of Inventory | August 1, 2022

Hi Its Monday, August 1st, 2022. Let’s talk about our Months of inventory here in Santa Clara County. (supply of homes) For single family we now have a 2.3 month supply. And, for condos we have 2 months of inventory.
A month of inventory supply is the number of months it would take for the current inventory of homes on the market to sell if there were no new homes put on the market.

BTW, a balanced market is around a 3 months – 6 month supply of homes. Here in Santa Clara County we are used to having low inventory throughout the year while it typically increases in the summer months.
